Abstrakt

Sensory integration disorders are more and more often diagnosed in children referred for diagnosis due to difficulties in the kindergarten environment. Usually, both kindergarten teachers and parents themselves feel helpless. The child’s behavior is misinterpreted and, consequently, the actions taken are not adjusted to the presented difficulties. The article presents basic information about the sensory integration process and the symptoms of abnormalities related to the reception and processing of sensory information. Recommendations on working with the child for teachers were also formulated.
