A doll is associated with childhood, a play and a happy face. This study concerns the attempt of showing the interdisciplinary conception of using dolls in preschool education according toH. Korošec . The author only limited this topic to possibilities, in terms of becoming familiar with otherness that is perceived as a monstrosity. Her exponent is a doll associated with features of a monster, in a sense, “a damaged creature” designed and developed by a child, explaining in this way its own state of mind. In progress of the social interaction, it gains the possibility of defining itself, which leads to overcoming this otherness and realizing that monstrosity is one of the masks worn by our lack of knowledge about the world.
