Abstrakt

The implemented school preventive programmes are not an alternative but a necessity and an important challenge for contemporary teachers. There is a need for specialized teaching staff who understand, have the skills, and implement effective prevention activities among children and youth. There are constantly dynamic changes in the functioning of many institutions of pedagogical character, which force specific actions to take appropriate educational reactions. It should be added that regardless of the changing visions of the concept in terms of the social tasks of school, the influence of the teacher on the pupil cannot be diminished.
